DOMANI – Micro-credentials for resilient green economies
DOMANI supports universities in Ukraine and Mongolia to navigate the twin green and digital transitions by building robust micro-credential ecosystems. The project helps higher education institutions redesign programmes so that learners, professionals, and public servants can rapidly acquire targeted skills in circular economy, climate resilience, and sustainable urban development.
Working with partners across Europe and Asia, DOMANI develops a common methodology for needs assessment, curriculum design, and quality assurance of micro-credentials. Universities experiment with flexible learning pathways, recognition procedures, and digital solutions that make upskilling more accessible for diverse groups of learners. Alongside this, the project invests in institutional capacity building, supporting leadership, administrative staff, and teaching teams with training, peer learning, and practical tools.
By combining hands-on experimentation with policy dialogue, DOMANI aims to create scalable models that other higher education systems can adapt when building responsive, labour-market-relevant lifelong learning offers.
